Boudoir is beautiful. Boudoir is sexy. Boudoir is the perfect gift for yourself (and your significant other). Boudoir sessions are becoming increasingly popular, but sometimes our nerves can get the best of us when deciding whether or not to schedule a session. Read below for some FAQs that will help you decide if these sessions are right for you!First....there are three ways that you can book a boudoir session...
1. Book during one of our marathon events.
2. Schedule a full boudoir session at the location of your choosing (your home, your booked hotel room)
3. Gather 4 of your best girlfriends (5 including you) and we can schedule your own boudoir party marathon at a local hotel.
What does the session include?
Your professional boudoir session includes 45 minutes of very sexy fun;
makeup artist, light hair-styling, music, and a boost of self confidence. You’ll also have access to special pricing on albums, portraits and discs. We will schedule a viewing session a few weeks after the completion of your session where you will view your images and make your selections. All images are copyright-protected, but if you choose to complete a Model Release, access to a few images after the viewing session. These internet-sized, watermarked images are also yours to keep. They may be used for personal portfolio's, online (Facebook, etc.), or for any non-commercial use as you wish, but the photographer retains ownership and copyright of all images.
What do I need to bring?
I’ll have access to Pandora where we can select a genre of music to your liking. but if you have something in mind that you know you love and makes you feel comfortable, bring your own music (on CD). If you want to try some implied-nude shots, bring your own white towel and white sheet. Bring at least two, but no more than four wardrobe options. I can guarantee time for at least two outfits, and if we move and shoot quickly, possibly up to four various outfits. Popular boudoir wardrobe choices include lingerie, tight jeans, cute tee shirts, a
good push-up bra, baby doll dresses, chemise, corsets, garters, thigh highs,
fishnets, sports jerseys, men's dress shirts and ties, bra/panty sets, thongs/gstrings/
sexy boy shorts, lots of fun jewelry (long necklaces, dangling earrings,
flashy rings, etc.). Very important… the shoes. Anything sexy, high heels, highheeled
boots, etc. Also consider bringing something of HIS. Is he a sports fan? Bring a baseball cap or a basketball jersey. Be creative.
Will you retouch my images?
Yes!! While proper posing, lighting, and outfit selection will make a big different in your portraits, skin imperfections will be retouched, this includes scars, blemishes, stretch marks etc. Body contouring, tattoo and piercing removal are not included but can be done for an additional fee per image.
What products are available to purchase?
Flush mount albums are the most popular product for boudoir sessions! In addition to these beautiful custom keepsakes, we also offer digital images, gallery wrapped canvases and mounted portraits.
Will anyone else see my pictures?
This is up to you. Your agreement form will have four different options for image release from a full release, to a complete privacy agreement.
Who will be in the room when I am being photographed?
For most sessions, in addition to myself, my assistant and/or a make up artist will be present. Also, our marathon sessions do have some over lap where you will be in the same room as the client before and after you.
