Our portrait sessions are one of a kind, tailored to your family in a way that only custom portraiture can. We start by discussing your family or child's personality and style to find the perfect locations, suggest the best clothing choices and to prepare for the a fabulous portrait session possible before I ever click the shutter. Capturing the true essence of your family is what I love most about being able to freely photograph you in a relaxed setting.After collectively deciding the best route for your custom session, we will choose a date and time keeping in mind your schedule along with the best time to photograph. Sessions are typically scheduled one to two hours before sunset and about an hour after sunrise, but we can make adjustments to our schedule when necessary. To keep my business as personalized as possible, I only schedule sessions on Saturdays and Sundays and only a very limited amount of sessions. Establishing a fantastic relationship with my clients means so much more to me than having a mile-long client list. Because of this, sessions are typically scheduled 1-2 months in advance, so please contact me as soon as you are thinking about having your session.
About two weeks after we meet to create your portraits, we will set up a view&choose session. I will come to your home (within 30 miles of Katy), after bed time, so we don't have little ones to worry about, and we will start with a video showcasing the images from your session. From there we will discuss options for displaying your favorite images as well as looking at some samples provided from the fabulous vendors I work with. We will tailor your portraits to fit your life, accessorizing your home with custom canvas collages and desk prints for dad's office. Two to three weeks following the view&choose session your portraits will arrive and I will hand deliver them to those residing in the Katy area.
Investment Information
Family portrait sessions last approximately one hour and can include multiple clothing changes. While I will bring some props to fit the location of the session, if you have any special items you would like included, feel free to bring them! The session fee is $175 and includes the time and talent of the photographer. Portraits, digital images and other boutique products are additional.Newborn sessions take place in our Katy home. The sessions last up to 3 hours, having plenty of time for eating, changing, snuggling and shushing. The session fee is $225. Child and maternity sessions last 30 minutes and have a session fee of $100.
Birthday sessions are also available for our kiddos turning the big ONE! A custom cake to smash at the end of the session along with matching balloons are included (parents choose the colors!) these sessions have a fee of $150.
For wedding information please visit www.nenametcalfphotography.com and click weddings. Our portrait clients, on average, invest a total of $800-$1400 for their session. We have a variety of package prices available at a discount. Collections start at $510, individual 8x10s start at $38 and wall mounted portraits start at $70. A minimum purchase price of $200 applies to all sessions. We also have a variety of custom products available including photo jewelry albums, boutique style cards and more.
A $50 retainer is required to hold your session date and is due within 5 days of scheduling your session. The remainder of your session fee will be due on the day of your session. It includes the time, talent and post production work of the photographer.
Approximately 20-25 images will be displayed from each session. Prices are subject to change without notice.
